Welcome to the Town Hall Rejuvenation Project
The Town Hall is the center of civic, community and cultural life in Woodstock—town offices mix with record vaults, public meeting rooms, and a treasured theater. But the building was constructed in 1900, and having last been updated in 1987, it’s badly in need of repair, renovation, and rejuvenation.
A group of community members and town officials have come together to spearhead this project. It will include interior and exterior repair work, renovation of town offices, adding flexible and accessible spaces for community use, and significant upgrades to the audience and backstage portions of the theater. The goal is to fulfill this historic building’s potential by making it a modern, accessible, energy-efficient community resource for all.
