State and Federal Tax Credits
On April 6, 2025, Caitlin Corkins, Tax Credits & Grants Coordinator for the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development, presented an overview of federal and state tax credits available to Village property owners. Properties located within Woodstock's Designated Village Center may qualify for state income tax credits for projects that enhance building safety, attract new businesses, and support job creation. Funding supports general rehabilitation and code compliance work, as well as flood mitigation upgrades and exterior facade improvements. The full presentation is available on Woodstock's YouTube Channel. For questions or to learn more about eligibility, contact Caitlin Corkins at caitlin.corkins@ vermont.gov or (802) 828-3047.
