On March 11, President Joe Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) into law, awarding millions of dollars directly to cities, towns, and villages. As of February 2023, the Town of Woodstock has $616,385.47 and the  Village of Woodstock has $159,094 to invest in projects for the betterment of the community. According to the federal guidelines, these funds must be used for projects that respond to the health crisis; support broadband access and improve water systems; provide funds for investment in the community; and/or premium pay for essential workers.
