This notice is published pursuant to 24 V.S.A. § 1972 to inform the public of these ordinances and of the citizens’ right to petition for a vote to disapprove these ordinances. ARPA Survey
On March 11, President Joe Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) into law, awarding millions of dollars directly to cities, towns, and villages. As of February 2023, the Town of Woodstock has $616,385.47 and the Village of Woodstock has $159,094 to invest in projects for the betterment of the community. According to the federal guidelines, these funds must be used for projects that respond to the health crisis; support broadband access and improve water systems; provide funds for investment in the community; and/or premium pay for essential workers. Town of Woodstock Notice of Vacancy Economic Development Commission One vacancy exists on the Economic Development Commission for the Town of Woodstock. If you are interested in being considered for this vacancy, please send an email to Nikki Nourse at [email protected] for an application. All applications will be due by March 15, 2023 to be considered. An interview by the Select Board is required. The interview will take place on March 21st at 10:00 am at the Town Hall and by Zoom.
