The Highway Department will be painting lines in the Mechanic Street parking lot tomorrow morning.🚗🅿️ 🗓 Date: 9/22/23 🕗 Time: 8:00 am – 9:30 am During this time, our dedicated crew will be hard at work, painting fresh lines to help you navigate and utilize the parking lot more efficiently.

We wanted to inform you about an upcoming road closure in our town. Due to the decision by the Town of Pomfret to close some of their roads that connect to Cloudland Road, the Town of Woodstock has decided to temporarily close Cloudland Road from September 23rd to October 15th. During this time, the road will be open only for residents and emergency services vehicles. Closure Details: Road: Cloudland Road Dates: September 23rd to October 15th During this time, access to Cloudland Road will be restricted to residents of the road and emergency vehicles only.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding this road closure, please feel free to reach out to the Woodstock Town Office at 802-457-3456.

Carlton Hill Road will be closed for emergency work to stabilize the riverbank. This closure will affect a section of the road located 1000 feet west from the Iron Bridge on Mill Street. We’ve been hard at work, and next Thursday, we’re taking our progress to a whole new level. We’re getting ready to pave a few trenches, starting with the sewer line project on Barberry Hill, Hartland Hill, High Street, and Lincoln Street. These improvements will make our community safer and more connected, and I’m proud to be a part of this effort.
